LEMON LAW: Chevrolet Traverse Problems and Complaints

Chevrolet LogoChoosing a car would be a lot easier if every automaker just painted all the lemons yellow, but the reality is just about every make and model could potentially have problematic vehicles.

The Chevrolet Traverse, for example, is one of those vehicles that hasn’t been too problematic. However, that’s no comfort to those owners who picked the one with the transmission that keeps slipping between 2nd and 3rd gear.

Lemon Law attorneys say the Chevrolet Traverse problems they’ve dealt with include airbags, lights, HVAC problems, traction control issues,  on-star and bluetooth defects with calls dropping, steering and alignment issues, fuel injector leaks, water leaks, transmission slipping, problems staring, loss of power, and trunks that don’t close properly.

  • traction control issues,
  • navigation
  • bluetooth defects.

  1. Our transmission failed after 100 k miles
    A bad shift solenoid
We bought it for 20k in 2013 and sold it to CarMax in 2019 for $1500

  2. I have a 2019 Chevy traverse. About a month ago when we shut the car off an alert flashes “shift to park” but the car is in park. We have to keep shaking the shift until it stops. Now every other time we go to start it, the battery is dead.
